Holiday Inn Express & Suites Richland, an IHG Hotel

We enjoyed our stay very much. Super clean rooms, big selection for breakfast, pool open 24 hours, super friendly staff. The upper floor is pet free for those with allergies. Milk and cookies served daily and the location is so convenient with restaurants and stores close by.

Safe parking lot with attentive staff. Clean rooms. Cool hot tub and swimming area.

Love the late check out. 24hr pool and gym, awesome. Breakfast on point, clean and staff is nice.

Great spot. It's close to the mall and restaurants. The rooms were very clean. It was a very quiet place even being next to a rail road. The train didn't come by until 7am. I will stay here again because of the customer service. They were attentive and made sure to accommodate me.

We stayed in the suite with a king bed and a jacuzzi bathtub. It is a wonderful room. We really needed to relax and unwind for a bit. The AC in the bedroom stopped working, so it got a bit hot. We asked to stay another day. They said no rooms like this were available, but I easily booked one on Expedia. The sofa bed is strangely comfortable, no bar in your back.

We stayed on the 4th floor in a larger room with a balcony. We couldn't be happier with the room. Upon arrival staff was top tier and set the tone for the rest of our stay. Pool was great for our kids and we all enjoyed an amazing continental breakfast. First time staying here even though we travel to Tri-Cities frequently for personal and business. Bang for the buck, not just my wife and I, but our kids agree. It will be our go to from now on. Thank you Holiday Inn Express and staff!

Top-tier customer service. Carlos went out of his way assisting me to my room upon my arrival when I was struggling to balance my dinner, suitcases, and my work equipment. This automatically made the hotel one of the best I’ve ever been to, which is saying a lot seeing as though I travel 50% of the year for work. To add, I also had an issue with my toiletries, and the front desk was happily willing to assist me with back up toothbrushes and toothpaste. The only downside is the hotel is dated. Appears to have been made in early 2000s and never touched since. The bathtub specifically needs help - there was some chipping and the wallpaper is separating from the wall above the shower wall. The air circulation is poor, resulting in the AC to continuously blow since I had it set to 68 F but the thermostat was picking up 71 F from across the room. Most of this is made up for by the prime location of being very close to the river. It makes for a gorgeous drive in. There’s plenty of shopping, dining, and recreational activities close by. To add, it was also great having weekday breakfast at 5am. I travel for work and have to be out of the hotel by 6:15am, so it makes it difficult to get breakfast because most locations start between 6am and 7pm. Overall, lovely hotel that just needs some cosmetic help.

This is the second time I’ve been at this hotel and every time has been wonderful! Friendly staff, clean rooms, a fun atmosphere in the pool. It’s definitely my go to hotel when visiting Richland! Edit (August 23, 2025): I am staying here again with my family, and had an issue I wanted to discuss with the front desk. Carlos and Hazel were not only super nice and professional, but they addressed the issue at hand and offered a solution. Having these two amazing people working here is a such a blessing! Very lucky to have them!
